Release 1.5.0: A Fresh New Look for ServiceZoid

Version 1.5.0 is now here, and it is the biggest visual update ServiceZoid has ever had. We rebuilt the entire interface on a modern design system, so the app feels cleaner, clearer, and faster to work with on every screen.

A completely redesigned interface

Every part of the app has been modernized: the dashboard, your customers, reports, materials, settings, and the sign-in screens. Lists are now organized into clear cards with icons and a logical hierarchy, so you find what you need at a glance instead of scanning dense text.

Automatic dark mode

ServiceZoid now follows your device settings and switches between a light and a dark theme on its own. Working early in the morning or late on site is easier on the eyes, with no setting to toggle.

A clearer dashboard

The new home screen greets you with your company name and puts your most common tasks one tap away: new report, customers, reports, and material. Your monthly capacity is shown as easy-to-read progress bars, and your open reports appear with status badges, so you always know what is still in progress.

Built for one-handed use

The main report actions are now pinned to the bottom bar, within easy thumb reach on a phone. A small change with a big effect when you are documenting a job on site.

More stable, behind the scenes

We added crash and error reporting across Android, iOS, and the web version, so problems get spotted and fixed faster. This release also went through an extensive automated testing pass and a separate code review before shipping. On the web, the DGUV V3 inspection forms now render correctly, and we polished several translations.
